As a member of the House Education Committee, we increased state aid by nearly $100 million to the education funding formula. We also provided $18 million for career and technical education, and $67.2 million to fully fund special education aid for higher cost students. In addition to these measures, we cut the State-Wide Education Property tax by $100 million, directly resulting in lower property tax bills for our citizens with zero effect on dollars going to Brentwood schools. We did all of this while building up our Rainy Day Fund, fully phasing out the interest and dividends tax, and cutting government spending by $172.5 million. In addition to these financial and education victories for Brentwood, Republicans also constructed a bipartisan compromise concerning abortion that preserves a woman’s choice in the first six months of pregnancy, while curbing elective late term abortion in the seventh, eighth, and ninth months with certain medical exceptions.

Around town, many friends and neighbors speak to me about issues affecting them. Between the rising prices of food, rampant inflation, and the fact that gasoline prices have doubled in the last two years, our neighbors are anxious and worried about having to either fill up their gas tanks or put food on the table. Republicans like myself have the experience and proven track record of guiding our state through financial crises and I am ready to continue my work to advocate for the hardworking men, women, and children of our town.

Now more than ever, we need representation with smart fiscal management to keep our state on track, to help our neighbors and friends through these tough economic times. I promise that if you honor me with another term in office, I will continue to fight for lower taxes, the protection of parental and student rights, election integrity, government and school transparency, and a better future for every citizen that calls Brentwood and New Hampshire home. I am incredibly proud of my voting record and the promises that I have delivered on to our community over the biennium. Loyalty is proven, it is not proclaimed. I will continue to be loyal with my words, my heart, and my actions. I hope to earn your vote for State Representative on November 8th.
